About Rory Slikker, (he/him)
Rory Slikker (he/him) is a clinical outreach specialist and services liaison, actively serving the LGBTQ+ population struggling with addiction and/or mental health. He has served many clinical support roles ranging from basic assessing, to discharge planning and everything in between. Currently, Rory manages all inbound and outbound referrals for Rainbow Hill Recovery, overseeing outreach, admissions, aftercare, and alumni for his queer clients.
Rory is also the co-founder of the LGBTQ+ Association of Addiction and Mental Health Professionals, which aims to educate the masses on LGBTQ specific topics such as ChemSex, trans-affirming care, WPATH SOC’s, and more. LGBTQ AAMHP also aims to foster personal and professional development, community, and cultural competency for queer professionals and our allies in the world of behavioral health.
Rory is an active member in his Palm Springs recovery community, sitting as the chair and founder of the CV SUD Group, a group that aims to connect the Coachella Valley with its behavioral health resources.
